Easy Cleaning Instructions for Your Frylow

It’s important to keep your Frylow clean in order to maintain optimum performance and longevity. Cleaning your Frylow is easy to do and requires very little maintenance. Follow these steps to keep your Frylow in top shape.

Step 1: Drain Your Deep Fryer or Allow the Oil to Cool

Turn off the fryer.

If you are changing your oil, then drain all the oil from the fryer in the normal way. If you are not ready to change your oil yet, then allow the oil to cool to room temperature.

Step 2: Remove Frylow

Remove Frylow from the fryer and place it in the fry basket. Use tongs to gently pull the Frylow out of your deep fryer.

Step 3: Rinse Frylow Under Hot Water

Carefully take your Frylow to the sink in the fry basket.

Rinse Frylow under hot water for 2 minutes each side to remove stuck on food and oil. Then ensure it is completely dry. You may wipe the Frylow with a soft cloth or paper towel.

Step 4: Install Frylow

After the Frylow is completely dry, install Frylow per the installation instructions.

Safe Handling Instructions

Stay safe and prevent damage to your Frylow by following these safety instructions.

  • Ensure Frylow is completely dry before installing in your fryer.
  • Always be careful of hot oil.
  • Drops can break Frylow and are not covered under warranty.
  • Use only non-toxic environmental detergents if washing in dishwasher or by hand.
  • Do not use an abrasive cloth or steel brush.
  • Do not remove blocks from casing.

Deep Clean

It is recommended that you put Frylow in a pot of boiling water once a week for 10-15 minutes. This will remove excess oil. A soft bristle brush may be used for light scrubbing to remove excess oil or particles on the slabs. Do not scrub Frylow with an abrasive steel brush.
